This was shoot was the second day that I had my camera, so there was a lot of experimentation and learning. I was just using the on-board flash, so the lighting situation isn't very ideal. Still, I thought these turned out pretty good for a first attempt at shooting a skatepark.

I think I'll pick up two of these Canon 1200mm lenses since it's practically a steal at $120,000 from B&H.

After hacking around with some PHP, I finally got the images working the way I want them. They are no longer cropped smaller or out of frame in comparison to my intended viewing frame. The result may be a smaller image preview in some cases, especially portrait images, but the quality of what you are seeing will be much better. As always, you can click on the magnifying glass to view the full-size image, which I encourage you to always do.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my images!

Canon is offering some pretty good savings right now through April 3rd, especially if you buy a 7D or 5D. I think I'll be taking advantage for the $15 savings on the Canon Speedlite 430EX II through B&H. Both B&H and Adorama have the rebate prices on their website already.

Well, it's day two with 528Digital.com and I think I've finally got the layout and functionality the way I want it. I've also finished uploading and publishing all of my photos that I consider "presentation quality". That is, they are photos that I think are good enough to show people and that I've done some post production work on in Lightroom and/or Photoshop. I currently don't have any images that I would consider "digital artwork" (i.e. significant production work beyond what the camera captured or an image created completely generated within a computer),...

To keep my interest in photography and digital art focused on one website, I've created 528Digital.com as a way to showcase my work. I have no aspirations to be a photographer for hire. If I sold some photographs or fine art pieces to individuals who were interested in them, that would be as far as I see my professional career as a photographer going. This is primarily to share my artwork for others to appreciate and to hopefully inspire others to create their own artwork or to influence their emotions and thinking.
Thanks for stopping by. I'll be adding more and more images as soon as...
